Pearl Street Improvement Project
Pearl Street Improvement Project Handout - July 25, 2023
The Town of Millbury has received FY 2021 Community Development Block Grant funds from the Massachusetts Executive Office of Housing and Livable Communities to make improvements to public works infrastructure on Pearl Street, including its intersection with Providence Street. Upgrades will be made to water and sewer mains, stormwater drainage, sidewalks and pavement, starting in August of 2023. During project work, there will be some disruptions to traffic and parking, and water and sewer service may be unavailable for brief periods during certain construction activities and testing. Access to some parking spaces at the Millbury Housing Authority’s Linden Apartments may be limited at times. Pearl Street residents are encouraged to consider parking on Maple Street temporarily. Updates to the project work or schedule will be posted here in the event of substantive changes.
